CBT-100 Buckle Tester Bottom for Can

The Canneed CBT-100 Buckle Tester Bottom for Cans" determines the exact pressure at which the can bottom begins to buckle respectively the dome reverses.

The empty flanged can or straight wall can is placed in the holder.
After covering the device with a plexi-glass hood pressure is applied.
The can is sealed with a rubber o-ring structure. Fast pressure increase
up to 5 bar (programmable to just bellow the expected buckle value), from there "speed of pressure increase" may be set within the device.

The test is terminated as soon as the can buckles.
The maximum pressure value is shown in the display.
Any can of varying diameter and height may be tested: inserts are available that can be exchanged within seconds.

PTT-200 POP and TEAR TESTER

The measurement is microprocessor-controlled.

The Canneed"CLT-600 Leak Tester for can" is used for checking the permeability of 3-piece cans in a water bath.

The can is fixed to magnet disc plate and submerged into the water.
At the same time it is subjected to pressure and leaks are revealed by air bubbles. End and side seams visible.

A special parallel clamping system enables to measure different diameters and heights with one device.

The clamping pressure and the test pressure may be set independantly.

The operator determines the period of time the cans are under water.

If he switches the by-pass lever and presses the two button valves, the cans deaerate and are lifted out of the water.

The whole test cycle is automated and is pneumatically controlled by pressure regulator valves.
