Description:

Model LGF Gypsum Moisture Meter is excellent for testing gypsum
wallboard as it moves or in stationary sheets
or stacks. This instrument has a stainless steel, flat-plate
electrode and measures the moisture in the gypsum plasterboard 1/4
inch to 3/4 inch thick. The meter has a color-coded direct-reading
dial for fast comparison. It can be used to check the moisture

The flat sensor can be slid along the wallboard surface without

Model MCPC Laboratory Moisture Computer
Description:
The
Model MCPC Laboratory Moisture Computer uses the principle of
weight-corrected capacitance measured at radio frequencies to
determine a physical
property (dielectric constant) that can be related to moisture
content. This technique is useful in measuring moisture because RF
completely penetrates nonconductive materials and therefore can gauge
moisture throughout the material. The test is instantaneous and
completely nondestructive, and no sample heating or chemicals are
required. The Model MCPC is often used as a safe and inexpensive
replacement for the Karl Fischer chemical titration moisture
analysis. It also replaces heat lamp 'moisture balance' type heating
devices.

OPTO-PORT Sampling System Analyzer 1
Description:
The
Opto-Port is a patented sampling device for use with the SMART II and
BSP-901 Moisture Analyzing Systems. The Opto-Port can perform
moisture measurement of powdered materials within a closed conveying
system such as within pneumatic piping or under a rotary airlock
valve. Installed directly into the conveying system, the stainless
steel Opto-Port is attached to a Moisture Register Products' NIR
Sensor. Product moisture is read through a quartz window at the end
of the Opto-Port (usually inside a drop pipe). A regulated air blast
instantly removes old product from the measurement window so that a
new reading is taken every 3-5 seconds. No moving parts are necessary
to make the moisture measurement.
